Not Included in Our Standard Service
Knowing what is not included is just as important as knowing what is. Here is what Tidy TinkerBell does not do during a standard cleaning — so there are no surprises on cleaning day.
Laundry
We do not provide laundry services. There are too many variables involved in in-home laundry, and it would keep us from completing your home in a time frame that allows for competitive pricing. (For Airbnb turnovers, we make beds with the clean linens you provide; washing linens is not included.)
Dishes
Washing dishes is not part of our standard service. Please load the dishwasher or clear the sink before we arrive so we can clean and sanitize the sink and counters.
Pickup
We clean — we don’t declutter. Please pick up clothing, toys, papers, and personal items beforehand so our time goes toward cleaning your home.
Grout Restoration
We scrub tile and grout surfaces, but we do not perform grout restoration such as re-grouting, sealing, staining, or color-correcting.
Moving Furniture
For safety reasons, and to protect your floors and furniture, we will not move heavy furniture or appliances. We will move items that can be easily moved — like dining chairs — to clean underneath. If you need us to clean behind a stove, refrigerator, or large furniture, please have it pulled out in advance.
Work on Ladders
For the safety of our team and your home, we do not work on ladders. High areas are cleaned only where they can be safely reached from the floor or a small step stool.
Interior of Cabinets & Appliances
Cleaning inside cabinets, the oven, and the refrigerator is not part of a standard house cleaning. These interiors are included with our Deep Cleaning and Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning services.
